Ivy Alwell, PMHNP-BC

Ivy Alwell MSN, PMH-CNS, BC is a board certified Advanced Practice Nurse specializing in the field of psychiatry. She graduated from St. Louis University earning her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in nursing. She holds a national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an adult psychiatric mental health clinical nurse specialist. Ivy brings diverse knowledge and experience in treating a broad range of mental health issues like depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar, schizophrenia and substance abuse disorders.

Her approach to treating patients is holistic, integrative and collaborative. She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management with supportive psychotherapy. She strives to provide the highest quality of patient care using evidence based practice guidelines with the goals of helping the patient achieve symptom management, improve their level of functioning, and attain and sustain body-mind health and wellness.

Ivy’s hobbies and interest include spending time with her family, pursuing fitness activities such as jogging and playing tennis, playing her guitar, reading, and vacationing on the beach.
